Stonehill Collection
This site was destroyed when an underpass on the route of the final link in the ring road was constructed. The site consisted of a Romano British farm and a metal working area. Dug by Bristol Industrial Archaeological Society (BIAS) the finds included pottery shards, sharpening stones, boiling stones, jewellery moulds, a millifiore brooch and a metal working furnace. All these finds were given to Kingswood Heritage Museum where many of the items are on display.
