Ice house
The ice house was filled with ice from the thirteen and a half acre lake situated in William Champion's pleasure garden. The ice was pulled off the surface of the lake during winter using horses and chains. Being so large it is thought that as well as supplying the big house it was also sold to Bristol companies to keep fish fresh.
