In a change to the advertised programme, the next talk in the Museum’s 2019 season will be given by the Museum’s Co-Curator, Alan Bryant. The subject will be the changing face of Kingswood’s High Street in the twentieth century.
Alan, a lifetime resident of the area, will illustrate his theme with scenes from his own, and the Museum’s, extensive catalogue. Alan says: “I hope I can bring back fond memories to all those local people who remember High Street over the years.”
The talk takes place on 10 June, commencing at 7.30pm. Seating reservations are essential, so people wanting to attend should contact the Museum in advance, by telephoning 0117 960 5664, or emailing [email protected] . The small entry fee of £3 includes light refreshments.
